In the golden month of September, filled with the fragrance of osmanthus, Manas University of Central Asia (MUCA) welcomed its energetic and aspirational Class of 2024. Outstanding students from Kyrgyzstan, China, and several countries along the “Belt and Road” initiative, filled with a thirst for knowledge and dreams for the future, gathered on MUCA’s picturesque campus to embark on a new academic journey in their lives.

The university meticulously prepared a rich array of orientation activities for the new students, including campus tours, departmental introductions, experience-sharing sessions with senior students, and a welcoming gala imbued with unique Central Asian cultural characteristics. Professor Ainur Samakova, the university president, delivered an enthusiastic speech at the opening ceremony. She encouraged the new students to bravely explore the unknown, actively participate in cross-cultural communication, and strive to become versatile talents with an international perspective and innovative spirit, contributing to the prosperity and development of the Central Asian region.

“I am very excited to study Computer Science at Manas University of Central Asia,” said Aydan, a student from Kazakhstan. “The cross-cultural atmosphere and cutting-edge curriculum здесь deeply attracted me. I can’t wait to meet new friends and explore new knowledge!”

Manas University of Central Asia will continue to uphold its educational philosophy of “Integrating Eastern and Western Wisdom, Cultivating Future Leaders,” providing students with high-quality educational resources and broad development platforms. We wish the Class of 2024 great success in their studies at MUCA as they set sail on their dreams!
